Custom Tuning
To provide further benefits above an off the shelf ChipTorque product, we offer custom dyno tuning to fine tune ChipTorque Performance Chips and Flash Tuning products. This allows ChipTorque's experienced tuners to make a program specifically for YOUR vehicle and its unique modification(s).
Parameters that can be altered include (where available):
fuel | timing | idle rev limit | speed limit | shift points | transmission line pressure
variable cam timing | boost limits | corrections for diagnostic trouble codes
Adjustments to these parameters can be highly beneficial for modified engines.

Dyno Tune
For EFI vehicles, a general check of the vehicle on our chassis dyno.
We check and set base timing, check data (where available), assess
air fuel ratio (AFR), power and check and reset boost (requires boost
controller) for turbo vehicles. Included in the service is a laminated
dyno graph displaying your vehicle's AFR and if safe to do so, power. To tune or adjust the vehicle program a performance chip or external
controller such as an aftermarket engine management system is required.

Speedo Check
We offer a comprehensive speedo check on our chassis dyno to assess and report on the accuracy of your speedo at varying speeds. Some
aftermarket modifications, such as wheels, tyres or diff ratio change
can affect the indicated speed on the vehicle's speedometer in relation
to the actual road speed. This service includes a written report stating
the indicated and actual speed, signed by our Technical Director.

Speedo Recalibration
In order to correct your vehicle's indicated speed, we offer a Speedo Corrector
module. This device can be installed and calibrated on our dyno to ensure your
speedo displays an acurate road speed.

Have your manual or electronic boost controller setup at an optimal boost level for peak performance and suitable mixtures on our chassis dyno.

Check Mixtures
Check the safety of your vehicle's mixtures by analysing the air fuel
ratio (AFR) on our chassis dyno. Aftermarket modifications such as cold
air induction / pod filter can alter air flow meter sensor readings causing
incorrect mixtures. This can cause vehicle's to run lean and risk engine
damage. A check of your vehicle's mixtures on our dyno can identify any
inconsistencies in this area and allow you to correct before engine damage
occurs. This service includes a laminated dyno graph displaying your vehicle's
AFR and if safe to do so, power.
Our sales team can recommend a tuning solution to improve your mixtures
if required.

EFI Diagnosis
With more than 25 years industry experience assessing EFI
systems on a wide variety of vehicles, we offer EFI diagnosis
based on our experience, not just scan tool data. We can assist
in assessment, diagnosis and recommended repairs to correct
vehicle problems. This can include diagnosis on our chassis dyno,
which can be required if the problem requires specific driving
conditions to reproduce the symptom. |

Power Run
Want to know your vehicle's power and torque at the wheels?
We offer power runs from our Shootout Accredited Dyno Dynamics
4WD and 2WD chassis dyno cells. Included in this service is a
laminated dyno graph showing your vehicle's performance output. We can also provide before & after dyno power runs as an
optional extra when purchasing a performance product for your vehicle.
This allows for a power comparison when installing a performance chip,
flash tune or other aftermarket modification. |

Dyno Day
We can host your car club or forum's next dyno day at our Gold Coast
premises. An event such as this is a great opportunity to get together with
your mates and get a closer look at your vehicle on the rollers. A discounted price is available for anywhere from 10 to 25 vehicles and
includes a laminated dyno graph in kW and torque at the wheels. Entrants also
go into the running to win a lucky door prize from us. Additional graphs
displaying air fuel ratio and boost (where applicable) will be emailed to each
participant. Depending on your needs we can arrange refreshments, BBQ lunch, morning
tea or sandwiches to keep everyone going throughout the day.
