XFlash2 Euro Tuner
ChipTorque's XFlash2 Euro Tuner is supplied with up to three aftermarket tunes. These can be customised to the use of different fuel types, boost levels, rev limits or modifications to provide greater variety for the user.

The plug-in installation process means that no physical modification is made to the vehicle and alternating between the factory and preset tunes can be done unlimited times. User friendly installation means that tunes are easily alternated between in less than 5 minutes by connecting the XFlash2 to the vehicle's OBDII port and using the product yourself. The XFlash2 is fully reprogrammable should you require a retune to suit further modifications or a complete new vehicle.

Holden Flash Upgrade
We provides flash tune upgrades for the Gen III and Gen IV model Commodores utilising VCM Suite tuning software. Each program is individually tailored to suit your vehicle's modifications and all security and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) data is retained.  For many vehicle’s this can be provided either by mail order or combined with a custom dyno tune. 

For mail order supply we require your ECU to be shipped to our Gold Coast premises. (LS3 not currently supported by mail order)

Supports Holden Commodore models with LS1, LS2 and LS3 engines.
 
Custom Flash Tune
Reflashing, also known as Flash Tuning is carried out by reading the factory tune from the vehicle's engine management system (ECU). Using our in-house tuning software our tuners then make specific changes to the tune, based on analysing the vehicle's driveability, air fuel ratio and engine sensor operation on our dyno. These improvements are repeatedly uploaded back into the factory ECU and retested through dyno analysis until we achieve optimal results in the vehicle's overall driveability and performance.

 
ECU Unlock / Recovery
For vehicle's that are unable to be retuned or reflashed due the the ECU being locked to another brand of tuning software, ChipTorque offer a service to remove the locked tune and reflash the ECU with a standard tune. This will setup the vehicle ECU ready for use with an Ezy-FLASH or other flash tuning option. Other instances where this services may be required is if the read or write process fails during reflashing the ECU.

 
Holden Performance Memcal
Plug-in style chip that replaces the factory unit in the vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU). Enhances aftermarket modifications ie. exhaust, camshaft, other engine modifications and more.  Custom tuning available for engine conversions to by-pass the vehicle anti-theft system or for transmission conversions.

We require ECU's 4 digit code and details of modifications for mail orders. The Memcal is supplied with a vehicle specific ChipTorque performance tune.

Ford F3M Performance Chip
Plug-in chip style chip that allows changes fuel and timing to greatly increase drivability and all round performance.

The Apexi Power FC proudly stands as A'PEX's answer to the constraints and limitations associated with most piggy-back style fuel controllers. The Power FC is a complete, stand alone, total engine management system capable of handling virtually anything thrown in its path. From multiple point fuel and ignition control to VTEC engagement (Honda applications) and boost settings, the Power FC is capable of accommodating even the most demanding performance enthusiasts.




Autonic SM4
The newest product now available. All the years of Autronic experience has now been incorporated into this product. This ECU has more features than previous generations to allow for a greater range of engine configurations. Modern engines have variable camshaft control and the SM4 can control most systems. Full proportional control with full advance and retard is less than 1 second. An optional internal Knock module is available to give secure detonation avoidance on an individual cylinder by cylinder retard of fuel enrichment or both.




Microtech
The LT series provides users with the fine tunability usually only found in high end ECU's while still retaining MicroTech's distinct price advantage over all it's competitors.

LT4, LT8S and LT12S come from our factory with a pre-programmed base map to suit your particular engine, greatly simpifying the installation and start up process. Once the unit is wired into the vehicle correctly, simply turn the key & the car will start and run well enough to be driven to your closest tuning shop for final tuning.

All LT's can be fined tuned either by the hand controller or by laptop making the system perfect for the 1st time tuner or the professional racer.

Another major advantage of the MicroTech is it's ability to use the factory engine sensors. No more drilling, tapping, modifying or making special brackets to fit aftermarket sensors. A job that is compulsory with almost all other aftermarket management systems.

Motec
Put simply, Engine Control Units (ECUs) are designed to electronically control fuel injected internal combustion engines. In its most basic form an ECU monitors the engine through sensors and uses this information to determine the quantity of fuel to inject and the timing of the ignition depending on engine speed (RPM) and engine load conditions. Typically, an ECU will use throttle position, manifold absolute pressure (MAP) or mass air flow (MAF), or a combination of these to calculate the load conditions.





ViPEC
ViPEC fuel injection, and engine management systems, were developed for Ray Hall Turbo Pty Ltd to fill a gap in the market, for ECU that were reliable, powerful, easy to tune and having features that worked correctly. Exhaust
Upgrading the exhaust system is one of the first enhancements vehicle enthusiasts consider to give their car more power and a better sound. Often an exhaust upgrade will provide benefits in performance plus alter the vehicle fuel mixtures, timing and boost levels and in some instances trigger vehicle fault codes.

Pairing a ChipTorque tuning product with an exhaust upgrade will ensure that you get the best performance and accuracy from your choice of vehicle modifications. ChipTorque can supply and install recommended exhaust systems for a wide range of vehicles supported by our tuning products.

K&N Filters
The K&N FilterCharger® air filter is designed to achieve high, virtually unrestricted air flow while maintaining filtration levels critical to ensure long engine life. K&N automotive OE (original equipment) replacement air filters generally add 1-4 horsepower. The secret to our success lies in the unique characteristics of our filter medium that was originally developed by K&N all those years ago in the dust, sweat and tears of desert motocross racing. We just wanted to win races and stumbled on a cotton filtration technology destined to be great.

K&N's high flow cotton gauze air filter is washable, reusable and built to last for the life of an automotive or motorcycle engine. K&N air filters consist of four to six sheets of cotton gauze layered between two sheets of aluminum wire mesh. This media is then pleated and oiled to enhance its filtering capabilities and overall performance. K&N Air Filters were created for an environment requiring maximum horsepower and enhanced acceleration in addition to protection from the dirt and dust of off-road racing. The result is an air filter that allows dramatically more air into an engine, is washable and reusable, and will protect your engine for the life of your vehicle.





 

Cold Air Intake
SS Inductions
It’s simple. When you can breathe easily, you feel better and perform better. It’s the same with your car. You’ve probably noticed how much better your car goes on a cold day. That’s because cold air is denser than warm, humid air and holds more oxygen. This cooler, oxygen-rich air increases the efficiency of the combustion process creating more power and torque.

All vehicles have a factory induction however most are undersized, restrictive and poorly situated so that there is no ramming effect and your engine is left to breathe in hot turbulent air from within the engine bay. This results in sluggish responsiveness with poor performance and economy - it’s like trying to run down the road breathing through a straw in your mouth.

You drive into high-pressure air try putting your arm out the window at even 50kph. SS Inductions’ cold air systems channel that pressured air to allow the engine to breathe in a greater volume at all speeds, across the rev range. The ECU in your vehicle will detect the increased air and alter its settings accordingly. This may take up to several hundred kilometres of normal driving to fully adjust and produce the maximum effect. With the exception of the OTR Growler® no tune is required when fitting any SS Inductions’ products.

This increase in airflow not only improves power, torque and general performance but also improves fuel economy by obtaining more power from the fuel air mixture you’re burning, you in turn use less fuel when driving your car from point A to point B at highway speeds.

Growler
The SS Inductions’ premium Growler® range replaces the factory airbox altogether and combines our high-flow inverted pod filter with a less-restrictive streamlined unit. The square shape of the factory airbox is not conducive to high speed airflow (when do you see a square exhaust pipe?). The combination of sheer volume, a pod filter and a
 
shorter more direct feed to the throttle body ensures significant power and torque gains. All Growler® units provide sufficient airflow for all high output modifications. You can feel and hear the difference and at highway speeds you’ll notice a big improvement in fuel economy.

Airflow is captured from behind and beneath the headlight through a huge opening in the Growler® airbox and directed through the pod filter via a shorter path to the motor. In some models the factory intake can be retained and also connected to the new airbox for greater gains.

Installation is extremely straightforward and you can accomplish the job in about half an hour with just a few simple hand tools. The Big Mouth® filter is easily accessed for cleaning.


OTR Growler
The OTR Growler® which is designed primarily for track use is a high performance over-the-radiator induction for the Holden VE V8. It replaces the factory airbox and intake pipe altogether and provides a direct feed to the throttle body. It uses two extremely efficient inverted cone pod filters attached to our unique ‘Y Pipe’, both of which are housed in a cowling which is specially designed to capture and channel the maximum amount of cool air through the filters and into the throttle body. The cowling and Y Pipe also acts
 
as dual insulation to reduce intake temperatures while the design itself reduces the likelihood of water ingestion. Note, a maf-less tune and intake air temp sensor are required with this unit.

The OTR® fits directly onto a standard car with no altering of radiator mounts etc. By unclipping the top cowl, the Big Mouth® filters are easily accessed for cleaning.

As well as having a very distinctive and aggressive appearance, users of this market leading induction can expect huge power and torque gains plus a great induction growl.





Process West
The Process West cold air intake kit is designed to replace the restrictive factory air intake tract. It is fabricated from lightwieght CNC mandrel bent aluminium tube and has a CNC machined air flow meter mount. It comes complete with a K&N high flow air filter. The unit is painted 2-Pac silver for a flawless finish.

For Subaru WRX & STi models (MY01-07) ChipTorque has found that the Process West air intakes do not alter the factory air flow characteristics. This makes for a reliable bolt on product without the need of custom dyno tuning, as required for many other brand air intakes when fitted to air flow meter based vehicles.





 


Intercoolers
To some intercooling is simple, go on ebay or similar supplier, give credit card details and before you know it an intercooler arrives. At this point many believe that they are ready to make power - WRONG.

The CHARGE - AIR cooler, is the most crucial of all the components on any turbo vehicle, for horsepower development, NO IF's or BUT's. Now many of you will say "but i'm not after horsepower - CRAP, we are all only human, and want to be better than the guy sitting next to us in their hotted up street machine. The intercooler is the sole critical horsepower maker. Dont believe us - just ask any race team or crew chief of how critical the extra few degrees lower ambient air are in making REAL HORSEPOWER...

Basically the rule is -
If you cant cool and flow the charge air eficiently, detonation (pinging) occurs and maximum possible ignition timing that could be achieved with a quality intercooler is lacking. Sometimes up to 3 or 4 degrees of ignition timing is retarded on lesser items and pressure drops of 6-9 psi are attained. Each degree of ignition timing as a general rule equates to approx 8-12 hp in a street vehicle.



 
Heavy Duty Valve Springs
Standard valve springs suffer from varying seat pressures from new and once subjected to cyclic operation (even for a short time) can lose tension rapidly. This loss of tension can lead to “valve float”, a condition whereby the valve is not returned cleanly to the valve seat, allowing it to bounce off the seat and releasing vital cylinder pressure. The resultant loss of pressure creates a misfire, followed by either erratic idling and/or stalling.

All valve springs lose tension after being installed - and because the original Ford valve springs are quite weak, even a small loss of tension can bring about this condition. Turbo boost pressure also works against valve spring tension on the inlet valves - the DOHC Ford 6 cyl inlet valve has an area of 3.5 sq inches approx, so for every pound of boost, roughly 3.5 lbs of valve spring tension is deducted from the spring pressure. For example, if the spring has 50lbs of seat pressure and the engine has 7 pounds of boost, the net effect is that valve spring tension is reduced by 24.5 lbs to only 25.5 lbs of seat pressure, which is inadequate for almost all applications.

Atomic H/D or Race springs are definitely not repackaged Ford V8 or Typhoon/Tornado springs (which fatigue just as quickly as the originals) but are custom wound from premium quality USA made nickel chrome vanadium spring steel, heat treated, shot peened, scragged and packed in matching sets of either 12 or 24 for use in all 4.0L SOHC and DOHC 6 cyl engines. Suitable for use with either standard or Atomic camshafts, no expensive cylinder head machining is required and the standard valve spring retainers, seals and locks are retained.

Shift Light
The XEDE Shift Light is a single stage high intensity LED that can be remotely installed in your vehicle's cabin and will illuminate at a user-set RPM point.

Once installed it's as simple as reving the engine and pressing the 'SET' button at the desired RPM. The RPM point can be changed as many times as you wish by repeating this process.

Available in 2 colours - High intensity blue or high intensity red.

Speedo Corrector
