ChipTorque are directly reflashing the factory ECU in this model with a custom 4WD Dyno Flash Tune at our Gold Coast premises. The Flash tune on a standard vehicle achieved a 17% increase in peak power which is an extra 25kW plus an extra 60Nm of torque through the majority of the rev range.

In two words – BIG DIFFERENCE!
It pulls a lot harder to redline now and feels more spirited even at lower RPMS. The best part is that my fuel economy hasn’t suffered at all – in fact its become better despite my heavier right foot.
I like it a lot – best bang for your buck mod out there. Can’t wait until it gets a bit cooler before I give it a bit more spunk.

Custom Flash Tune
Reflashing, also known as Flash Tuning is carried out by reading the factory tune from the vehicle's engine management system (ECU). Using our in-house tuning software our tuners then make specific changes to the tune, based on analysing the vehicle's driveability, air fuel ratio and engine sensor operation on our dyno.
These improvements are repeatedly uploaded back into the factory ECU and retested through dyno analysis until we achieve optimal results in the vehicle's overall driveability and performance.
