Thought I would give you an update on how the car is going having now driven it a fair bit on the Motorway and in the hills.
On the Motorways it is using about 1L/100Km less than it was on Dreamscience (DS) tune. The car had a full injector cleanout just before you guys tuned it so it was always going to be better economy, but have had a chance to compare against two identically modified XR5's on a trip to Ballina and I was sitting about 1L more efficient. They were both running Dreamscience Mod maps. Motorway acceleration is very similar. Considering these Mod maps are the “Flagship” tunes by DS and are running 1.2 bar + that's not bad.
In the hills the car is much better to drive quickly as boost isn't so hyperactive and the car is much more progressive. Part throttle response is fantastic. It feels much like the stock map only much more powerful, which is exactly what I wanted.
In and around town the car is also better to drive because of the part throttle smoothness. The surging it used to do on Race map has gone completely. The car just feels “right”.
